Electrical Engineer – Cranes & Hoists Servicing & Maintenance

Field/home based, covering Ireland

Up to £35,000 Plus Commission Scheme, Company Vehicle, Contributory Pension, Sales Bonus Scheme, Life Assurance Scheme, Laptop, Mobile, Industry Leading Training Programme

Our client is a world-leading lifting equipment manufacturer. They supply manufacturing and process industries, the nuclear industry, shipyards and harbours, with productivity enhancing lifting solutions and services. In order to further develop their global foot print and market share, they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to cover Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical engineer with a flair for sales, excellent client-facing skills and a track record of working on cranes and hoists. It’s also a unique chance to develop your career within a successful global company.

As the Electrical Engineer, you will be expected to be hands on in completing the maintenance contracts on lifting equipment and undertaking repairs, as well as obtaining new leads for sales. You will grow sales though identifying and developing new customers and markets, in which full support from the Marketing department and Sales Managers will be provided.

Whilst our client is already a market leader, in Ireland there is plenty of room and opportunity to grow and develop the business. As such, this role would suit someone who has the drive and determination to build the business.

This position will be home based in the first instance, and as the sales develop and the business grows, then premises will be sourced and additional staff recruited.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- an ONC (or equivalent) in engineering

- electrical engineering experience

- a track record of servicing/maintaining cranes and hoists

- experience in a customer-facing role

- a flair for sales (not necessarily from past experience)

Additionally, as an Electrical Engineer you should be well organised and highly motivated, with the ability to work at heights. Good IT skills are also essential, as is a full driving licence.

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary, excellent benefits, access to industry leading training, and the chance to develop with a modern technology leader. Join the success story - apply now.

To apply for the role of Electrical Engineer (Cranes & Hoists Servicing & Maintenance), please simply send your CV and a covering letter via the button shown. If your skills and experience meet with any of our client's requirements and/or needs, we will provide our client with your full details so that they can consider whether you may be suitable for the vacancy advertised.
